funny feeling

when my chest is bad and i can feel my throat getting tight my tounge feels funny.

does anybody else get this,

why does it happen?

Yes I do. When I have checked my mouth and tongue in the mirror because they are tingling so much I usually have a lot of little blisters but I can also see the impression of my teeth which made me realise the tingling was because my tongue and throat actually swell slightly but not enough to panic about. It is a horrible sensation though and am aware it could get worse each time, especially if I have had a spate of reactions.
