Anyone going to watch? Not sure myself with Jedward and Blue there. Tis so bad and cheesy it's almost good again

I am! I normally avoid it like the plague but love Blue so have to watch lol. Not that UK will get many or any points 
I am going to switch on now! Hubby gone out to quiz and son not interested so will watch on my own. Hubby and I watched it the last few years and thought it was very entertaining although not quite the same without Terry Wogan.

having house eurovision party as well with food, drink (vodka onoly for me as everything else causes quite severe attacks...) and even costumes lol how sad are we i dont know?!
not sure who to support tho as denmark and bosnia quite good songs and of course uk- blue

So what's your costume Snowygirl? Hope something suitably absurd I'm not really watching, on my own atm and feel more fun to watch with other people (I would so do costumes as well). But maybe should turn on for the fit Swedes...
btw must be annoying only able to have one kind of drink but was thinking you could present it as an interesting quirk: 'no no darling, just vodka, I only drink the best'.

however can also drink mojito cocktails - as its bacardi rum or i can put vodka in mine alternatively

Lordi were the best thing to happen to Eurovision. Winners in 2006 case you didn't know. More rock and metal bands please then it might be worth watching.
The point is it's so awful it's entertaining. Still think Moldavia (pointy hats) is the best, hope they do well. xx

Am confused now though - aren't they Moldova? I thought Moldavia was a country made up by some guys who wrote a very funny spoof travel guide to a fictional Eastern European country - if you can find it worth a look. I can never remember though which is the real country and which is the fake.
Whoops - you're right Philomela, it's Moldava. And Blue won't win, most of Europe dont like us. Shame.

will say this i cant belive blue got more than 50 points was shocked malta didnt give them more but what is happening over 100 points to ireland what has europe had to drink or where they all drunk when ireland where on. Loui walsh created a monster in jedward think he wants to take over the musical world with them
I said Azerbijian was going to win last week - it was only a joke. I quite liked the song - but did like the last one reminded me of Evanessence. ANy way not sure that I will be going to Baku to watch Eurovision Live you never know though
