I enjoyed the story we had going a while ago so thought I'd start another one.
Same rules - you finish off the sentence from the previous one then start another one for the next person to finish.
I'm feeling like a literary cliche, so here we go - even though for once this is not actually true:

and temporarily turned back into humans just in time to see.....

they were coverd in polka dots and not sure why they were changing or mutating in to
were-mushrooms! Unfortunately then a pig came up and decided to try eating them...
