MY dad was told by a friend if you rub a raw potato over you windows they wont freeze up.
We thought he was silly.
That night he came down and did it to his windows and when he went we could not believe it as every car in the street had frozen windows and his were all clear.
so if there are people out there who want to give it a go would love to here if this silly tip worked for them.

The starch in them is the key component, it also works if rubbed inside to prevent them misting over, never actually tried it.
