hi my 4yr old was let out of hospital today with resting sat level of 92,is this normal as one doctor once said they need to be at least 95 before they are happy to go home?i know that they go down when asleep and that is whats worrying me,

sats levels depends vary according to conditions as well e.g. if a child has a heart condition then it can be acceptable for them to have lowered sats levels of sometimes 85% or even lower...

bu as a whole if a child is fit and healthy its 92 but most docs prefer 95%.

but 92% is okay for your lil one. at night, there is less oxygen in the air, so everyone's oxygen level will go dwn a tiny bit, but apparently not enough to cause problems. so please dont be alarmed.

concentrate on your boy's breathin and other symptoms and go by maternal instinct :)
