You may be sent for like a little interview thing with a few short tests and a chat before a diagnosis process/chat - I say interview as if your results on these tests isn’t in the suggested range it’s likely you’re not on the autistic spectrum but may be on something else or nothing

It’s nothing too scary though it’s a test whose name escapes me but it’s about 16 statements and how you answer them gives you a 1 or 0 iirc and a score over ‘x’ indicates likelihood and progression might happen if the chat also indicates it

So do they do this with my child he's 13 and only just be sent for assessment by our gp
