Hi there Elana, my name is Helen... I'm 46 and I have HFA / Aspergers, though I'm not formally diagnosed, almost was but then it didn't happen due to local funding issues, and I'm kind of glad now that it didn't happen. Going through the pre-assessment stuff, including the Myers Briggs, via my workplace O.H. was helpful enough and was the catalyst for me develooing a,much better understanding of myself and others... & then I started my BSC in Psychology :-)

Hi Elana I not going to be on this forum any longer as I don't think I am austic or that my daughter is. Thank you for being my friend. Goodbye

Hi Elana I love physiology I have O level in child psychology and have always loved the subject. My daughter's physcharist said I could be one. I don't have a workplace to get help with this, Just getting back into work due to my daughter's struggle with mental health (diagnosed with social anxiety disorder.) Don't know if there will be funding in my local health authority but don't know if they would. Just getting the courage to ring autism UK. I have done tests online getting a positive results. Getting a little obsessed with it the research getting lots of books from library. Still waiting on as per girl.
