Oh dear I am very sorry to hear of your distress. The same happened to me over the summer as a result of the methotrexate. May I ask what medication you are taking? My Gp and rheumatologist stopped me taking it immediately and switched me to sulfasalazine which is kinder. I'm not sure that the new meds are as effective in controlling the RA but I'm happier now that my hair is growing back. I would see your consultant immediately to ask for advice. Good luck.
Hi honey, happened to me too and I'm just devastated. I use Topik, bought online. It masks the bald areas and let's me face the world better. Good luck, it is a hard journey we travel. Lesley
