I read your MRI results which are indicative of changes occurring in your lower spine and probably any pain that you may have as a result. On a positive note, the changes are not affecting the facet joints or pressing on nerve endings. You should have had a face to face appointment with whoever requested the scan. Although an MRI result may appear scary to you and I, you should have been reassured by the doctor about the results.

I do hope that someone from the medical profession reassures you about your scan soon. I don’t know if you have had any treatment like phsio or seen anyone else, but good luck with the future.

I did see the consultant after this result and he said that nothing sinister and I couid go back to see him again if I am getting pain a lot.

He said something about injections. Possibly nerve ablation .

Well I think that your consultant knows better than anyone about your individual case. Injections are not a permanent solution, but they are longer lasting and more effective than pain medication.

Best wishes.
