Hiya! I'm 25 and was diagnosed with HF about a year ago now. My EF was 42, went down to 35 and now I've been on all the meds a while has gone all the way up to 62%! Honestly, it's taken me a long time to accept that I have heart failure and I was definitely in the same boat as you, constantly worrying about death etc but the medication has really helped me - my heart is much healthier now. As long as I keep taking them, I'm likely to live a nice long life! All I can say, is listen to your cardiology teams take your meds and you're definitely not alone in this. Here if you want a chat!
I also see you have BPD on your lists of health interests. I have had BPD for almost 10 years, which definitely doesn't help things! But like I said, if you want to chat then feel free to give me a message ☺️
Oh wow it’s rate to see someone else in there 20s with the same issue. Thank you for sharing your story! I’m so glad you er went up! I’m going for my appointment at the end of the month mines was at 20%. You’re right the medicine helps and doctors know what they’re doing so I have to give faith in them.

It is quite understandable to feel anxious upon receiving news of a new heart rhythm condition. Heart Failure can sound scary, but it simply means the heart is not beating as efficiently as it should and requires some extra help.
