Hi just wondering what it means when the doctor says part of your heart is not working. This is what my partner has been told

A narrow vessel a part of his heart not working properly. Got a ecg and blood tests Tuesday and chest X-ray on Wednesday. He gets pain in his heart and coughs quite a bit Thankyou for messaging
