After almost three weeks on Amiodarone including a 300mg loading for first week I am still feeling sick at times having weird dreams and feeling generally worse than when on 2.5mg of Bisoprolol. So have reverted back to Bisoprolol. Has anyone else had the same problems with Amiodarone ? ?

Please look up about the 'effects' of Amiodarone'. Put Amiodarone in the search box at the top right of this page. It is a very toxic drug and can take take years to come out of your body. The half life is very long. Please also discuss with your doctor.

I am not qualified to give advice on medications but I would strongly advise hat you do not change what your EP or cardiologist has advised without discussing it with them first. Amiodarone and Bisoprolol are not in the same class of drugs and should not be considered as substitutes.
