Hi. I have been a member of AF Health Unlocked for a while. I also have heart failure. I have had no information only been put on Frusomide tablets.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Marina

my husband suffers from heart failure and AF. Is it heart failure you don't know about or AF or both. As we now have a dedicated nurse for my husband we are very au fait with both conditions and can help with some of your queries. However there is a very good booklet published that the hospital should give you and that explains heart failure in great detail and what each of the medicines are for and what yu should do when vaious symptoms arise.

Hi pirnough6. Thank you for your comments. I know a lot about AF, as I see an EP at the John Radcliffe. However, my cardiologist in Milton Keynes just diagnosed me and prescribed the Frusomide. No follow up. I was not given any booklet.

Thank you.

Hi, I don't know mucg bout Af but do know a bit bout heart failure. Under NICE guidelines you should be referred to a heart failure nurse if they're in your area, not all areas have them. You should also have a care plan in place. I would get in touch with your doctor & ask about them
