Have had laminectomy and intracept procedures on lower back. Prognosis by best back doctors in Boston: Cause of my lower back pain, short of a million dollars, cannot be determined. No further treatment recommended. You will have to live with it the rest of your life. I'm 90. I cannot stand for more than 20 minutes. I cannot walk more than a short distance. I'm only comfortable lying down and sometimes sitting down. No legal pain medicines help. Any recommendations?
