One of our main goals is to raise awareness of pre-eclampsia, especially amongst pregnant women, so that people know what symptoms to look out for. What do you think is the best way to raise awareness?

I think an information sheet should be given to all pregnant woman about pre eclampsia with information to explain symptoms and when to see a doctor.
I agree with the member who posted above.
Also, posters regarding pre-eclampsia could be put up in the receptions of waiting rooms in certain departments, like before you go in for a routine scan, or also even in a GP's waiting room.
Every midwife should be told to inform every pregnant woman on it, as my midwife brushed it off and said I wouldn't get it, but how wrong she was.

I had pre-eclampsia aged 17 with my first daughter, it was purely chance that I had a routine appointment with my nurse that it was actually discovered. (An appointment which I actually wasn't going to go to) I was 28 + weeks at the time. So I would say the best way would be reminding women about the importance of continuous anti natal checks, because I had not a single symptom but had I not gone for that appointment, I doubt I would be here today. It wasn't until I was virtually in a coma that I had a symptom which was a headache & I was whisked off for a emergency c.section at 29.+5 days.
