Help .....loosing my eyelashes after 26 years of AU !

i am wondering if anybody could help me out with regards what to so when your eyelashes are slowly going. I am devastated as my left eye has being losing lashes for the last month and now there are only about 4 left on the top of the left eye ! The right eye has a little gap but not fully started losing them on this side ...yet. I am absolutely distraught over this as I have AU but have always had long curly eyelashes and managed to keep these for 26 years when I lost everything else. I hate this disease it is so cruel. It has slowly attacked my lashes every day like I say for the last month. I had Blood tests done and eye tests and it is definitely the alopecia ....why now after all this years I wonder !! I have looked at false eyelashes but even ones that say they are natural are still long and false looking, despite me trying to cut them which has made them look worse. I also dont really want to start wearing lashes just on one eye as it will look odd, but putting them on the other side wont be good as it will help pull the lashes I have left on the good eye out with the glue etc. Any help would be appreciated and any alopecia lashes that look really good and realistic for me to have a look would be helpful too please.

I really do sympathise with you and yes it is such a cruel disease. My son has had AU for over 2 years now. He is only 21. He lost every hair on his head/body/face. He has over the last 6 months, seen some regrowth starting growing back as he lost it. 1st some facial hair, now his head. His brows and lashes were the last to go. He wears glasses which help to frame his face. If you read my story you will see the latest treatment we have tried, which was an Ayurvedic remedy from India. We can only hope that it is this that has kickstarted the regrowth. I wish I had a magic wand 😊
