No, it has thinning properties. It can also lower blood pressure so is contraindicated for anyone on blood pressure medication.

I don't know personally, but here's the results of the drugs.com interactions checker ...

Seems OK. Perhaps you could talk to your pharmacist though.

The best person to consult would be a qualified Ayuverdic herbalist who has taken a full medical history. I know it is a popular herbal remedy but not something I would take and certainly don’t buy from High Street or online as you don’t know what will be in it as no herbal remedies are regulated.

It is considered ‘safe for most people’ by NHS but there are warnings about long term use. An informative site for info Examine.org which is fact checked.

What reason do you want to take it?

I have been drinking a mushroom coffee blend that has it in it. It has not bothered me. I only have one cup in the morning. I have also taken it with other things also as a drink. There are many supplements that we need to be careful with I have discovered. I have a friend that is really into them. She recently sent me several. I told her that because of my condition, I can’t take certain things and everything needs to be cleared with my doctor. She spent quite a bit on these things one included licorice which I would love to try. I forget one of the other ones. Yes there are many you cannot take if you are using blood pressure medication or anticoagulant CoQ10 my cardiologist actually says might make me feel better. I have not asked him about the other stuff yet. I see the end of the month. My blood pressure is perfect so I am hoping that means my one cup in the morning is harmless.

there are 1 million ads for supplements you don’t know the consistency of the etc. I had a friend that had a store they were batch small batches. It was a place I knew I could trust plus I did not have trouble but now I am feeling really good for the most part. I don’t want anything to mess it up. Also, if you are a person that wants to take 1 million different supplements you need to have them listed with your doctor because if you were to land in the hospital and need some type of surgery etc. you could be on something that could your life. This is a very serious thing. here in the the does not approve them for a reason. Oh yes, sometimes it may be because it’s not making big money for big Pharma, but also be more to it. Personally, I’m looking to take fewer pills not add to it. My cousin must have 100 bottles and yet he appears to be one of the unhealthiest people I know and he is 15 years younger. Be careful you to buy products. You probably don’t need anyway. If you get periodic blood test testing, your doctor would tell you if you are low on something that is important. I am 72. I’ve been pretty lucky. I guess. Definitely blessed. I think I want to stay this way. It’s bad enough having to take what we need to these days.

the way, I look at it my EP did a lot and performed somewhat of a miracle saving me creating my pacemaker, etc. it changed my life for the better which I never thought could happen again and I am not going to damage that work that he put into me. It’s a long road to get to where I am feeling like I am I do not want to go backwards. Think about why you want to take something I know I still want to try licorice because of the flavor it’s supposedly has but I think I will just put cinnamon in my drink instead lol our tastebuds can get us in trouble
