Hi BobD I have had a quick scan of the 60 or so leaflets on the site but can’t see one relating to consultants. What is the heading on the leaflet? Thanks

Sorry if it has moved. Always used to be able to pull it up. Suggest you ring the office (AFA) helpline and they can sign post you.

Look at Professor Gupta at Liverpool Heart and Chest. His NHS waiting lists are very long , he also works privately

I have a friend who is a cardiologist locally who refers to someone else there that he says are very good but shorter waiting lists. I have forgotten his name but will text him and get back to you

Can't help with a referral, but it is normal for the heart rate to increase while doing activities, even bending, lifting, etc for afib patients.

Suggest discuss with your doctor, the need for medication, and monitor your heart rate and blood pressure.

Dr Derek Todd , Liverpool Heart & chest does NHS & Private work under Toddcardiology. He is bit brusque but efficient
