Reducing Bisoprolol

I'm just over 6 months post-ablation and looking to stop taking bisoprolol, having been on 5mg daily for some time. Both my EP and GP have said I should just stop taking it and are dismissive of the effects of doing that. I've decided to reduce it gradually and went down to 2.5 mg with no real effect. I'm now four days into reducing the dose to 1.25mg, taken first thing in the morning. I'm experiencing intermittent headaches which I assume are a result. My heart rate is pretty much unchanged and my blood pressure is at my normal level but I feel out of sorts.

Have others got experience of the effects of reducing bisoprolol and how long they last? Amd how long should I wait before stopping completely?

I was told to stop years ago. Can't remember what dose I was on, or if I titrated off or just stopped, but no issues since.

I just stopped it as instructed and had no side effects. Good luck and hope your ablation gives you back your life.
