re your comment on Digoxin, the Drs had huge problems controlling my AFib, I am a retired nurse I asked about trying Digoxin which slows strengthens & steadies the heart, after discussion with the Consultant it was agreed, that was around 10 years ago I haven’t been in fast AF since, no obvious side affects

AF medications affect people differently. When I tried Digoxin it caused confusion and slight depression. I couldn't wait to stop taking it and would never willingly do so again. However, I have a friend who it suits well and like you she sings it's praises.

I was put on digoxin when first diagnosed woth AFIB in 2014. I found that it made me lethargic and also caused some skin discolorations too. I researched and replaced my digoxin with Hawthorne root which I take a capule AM and PM. works the same, But none of the bad side effects.

I have heard of Hawthorne root for the heart, but l understood it interacted with anticoagulant and beta blockers. I take warfarin, what medication do you take? It would be interesting to know how this works for you please. I tried digoxin but it gave me severe diarrhoea. Thanks.
