Hi all,
63yo male, AF (familial - mother's side) for 25 years, 2 ablations (2018 - PVI for PAF - and 2023 - after 10 week episode of pers AF) both in Bordeaux.
Thankfully AF-free but a few short (few seconds to a few minutes) runs of AT (130 bpm) now and then (can have a couple in a week and then none for weeks).
This last week I've noticed something a bit different and wonder if others have experienced similar.
It goes like this. Around 8 to 9 am I get a run (3 to 30) of pounding heartbeats at 60 or so BPM, then a 1.4 second pause and the calm normal non-pounding heart beats at same 60 bpm rate. This repeats intermittently but settles down by mid-morning. Not uncomfortable. Only when sat at rest not when moving around. Not particularly worried - just curious.
Anyone else experienced the same thing ?
Kind regards to all,
Mike (UK)
