In my research on AF of which so far as I know, I had one attack of in early 2023 which saw me hospitalised for a day. However, later in that year I had one half of my Thyroid removed which left me with a constant barrage of ectopic beats but could be just a result of my anxiety and stress. In any event, as I mentioned above, as per my research into AF I came across the following scientifically researched product and wondered if any one is familiar with it? sciencedirect.com/science/a...

Hi
May I ask why you had one lobe removed of your thyroid?
I was diagnosed with Papillary Cancer the few months from Stroke Rapid and Persistent AF = Papillary Cancer. It needed microscopic attention of my left lobe to join my right lobe being removed. 1 surgeon had joined my triage team to check it out as I definitely had a 19mm x 7mm carcinoma in my right lobe.
I will await your reply.

Goitre - multi nodular
Hi
My adopted daughter has a goitre (had it for at least 5 years). 32 nodules on thyroid but 1 is 4.2cms.
She postponed her thyroidectomy as she wants to retain her thyroid.
Under a natural path she is shrinking that by iodine.
I tell her, she doesn't know whether it is cancerous. I tell her there is a risk of heart problems like AF if she becomes thyroid toxic in hyper.
I couldn't understand why she wasn't given choices.
She says over the last 8 weeks her goitre has shrunk but there are no proven tests that this is happening. She did have the risk of this nodule blocking her breathing pipe.
It's scary I think for her. Aged 50.
