CABG operation feb 2023, ablation carried out during open heart surgery also mitral valve clip installed, have had AF for as long as I can remember, on amioderone plus edoxaban and a cocktail of other meds, waiting for a electral cardioversion to get my heartbeat in to sinus rythem

Did they perform a Maze procedure and/or clip your LAA during the CABG, or did they just do the graft and Mitral Valve Clip?

I hope your recovery goes well and that that clipping the Mitral Valve will help resolve your afib issues.

That's great, so are they letting you get off of thinners completely, or at least reducing the dose? What about the Maze? Did they perform one or are they just thinking fixing the Mitral Valve will be enough?

No I have to stay on edoxaban because I'm on amioderone! Also on aspirin, amlodipine, bisiprolol, ramipril and ranolazine , also take glisceryl trinitrate for chest pain, as you can imagine I rattle when I walk 😁
