Its quite common for people with AF not to be able to lie on their left side in bed without triggering AF. Doing that will always make me aware of my heart thudding. You may well be able to sleep on your back, but not right after lying on your left as that may already have set your heart off in AF.

Thanks for info Jean. Maybe i just have to live with it and the xrays may be a waste of time. I have had the af for about 3 years now and have pacemaker which helps. Its just that it all got worse after i was given a lumber puncture 2 months ago
I would be interested in knowing the results of your tests since I have a similar problem with pressure on my back causing afib or Inappropriate mode switching by Pacemaker.
