Does anybody have experience of these? I saw a friend with one recently, bit of a new toy. It seemed to be all-singing, all-dancing, measures everything going on. Googled them and there is a whole host of them online, from £20 upwards. Too good to be true or just a toy? Worth a go, and at what price?

I have reviewed a number of these new smart watched for Amazon. The sheer number available from Chinese suppliers is truly mind boggling. They are certainly good value and do work well, with some linking via bluetooth radio technology to your mobile phone, so able to alert you to texts and calls, too.
In the end, though, I would never change my Apple Watch, despite the huge difference in price. I find the iPhone / Apple Watch combination to be very special and useful in so very many ways. The ECG and heart rate functions are reliable and very well designed for ease of use and information offered.
For the price, though, I think you could not in any way be disappointed with one of the new low cost watches. They certainly do work.
