Choice of NHS ablation hospital

I am an NHS patient with Epsom Hospital they have put me on a waiting list for an ablation at St George's Tooting. Anyone know if it is possible to choose a different hospital for the procedure such as The Brompton or does all treatment have to remain within the same trust ?

I live in Devon but my arrhythmias have always been treated by Royal Brompton. If your GP can refer you is the secret.

Maybe speak to the cardiologist/dr or their secretary at Epsom that made the referral and say you would like to go to the Brompton instead please. In most circumstances you have the right to the hospital of choice. I live in West Yorkshire but had both my ablations in Liverpool. Only difference though is I paid to see my EP of choice for a consultation but he put me on his NHS list for ablations. I’m still under him now 5 years hence.

I’m under Kingston Hospital but my ablations were done at St Thomas’s.
