Thanks for posting that . Alun Wyn Jones, a legend! Wishing him all the best!

thatā€™s interesting hope he recovers well. The article said he had surgery to correct it, I wonder what type of surgery?

The wording appears the same wherever itā€™s reported, Iā€™m assuming ablation but I donā€™t know. The media said something similar about a footballer recently and the assumption again was ablation.

Wow, thanks for sharing. I've had AF for 20 years (since late 20s) and played women's rugby in my early 20s, so this is an interesting read.Alan Wyn Jones is a complete legend here in Wales.

I have had excellent cardiac care here (South Wales) the last few years despite the challenges in the health service. Not so great in other departments but cardiac care has been outstanding.

Itā€™s been in the news since before Christmas but would appear the story got missed by many, thatā€™s why I posted when it appeared on AFA website.

I agree with your comments above.

AF & other heart issues seem to be increasing. I joined in 2017 and if memory serves members were around 20K, now over 30K; part could be explained by word of mouth but I doubt all.

Hard to say if the issues have increased or the diagnosis of issues has increased, for me and many others it will be the wearables monitoring heart rates or we may not have known.

Also the Know Your Pulse program may be responsible for more diagnosis.
