I don't believe that there is a one fits all for any situation and that most information is for guidance ie if it works for you without adverse affects then that's got to be fine.

Please define "working heart rate". Meaning when you are not sitting and doing normal activities or doing extended activities like exercise.

If normal activities like walking, standing, etc goal may be to reduce the rate. Inform your doctor for his professional advice.

Like jay mentions above, key is adverse effects.

Working out, hard walking in hills, avg 15 min miles and bike riding 14.5 mph average. And heartrate drops 20 bpm within 2 min of activity stoppage.

That is super, especially with hr dropping to norm.

Just would encourage you to make doctor aware,

Thank you may7 and yes, I have and show him my workouts on my IPhone app. He thinks they're helping. One thing I didn’t mention. I coach the HS golf team from July-early Oct. The last 2 years I have continued my workouts thru golf season. The 3 years before that I didn’t and I had an episode shortly after the season’s end. Moderate workouts along with the Multaq seem to help keep them at bay. You take care and thanks for the info and suggestions.

Just an aside I read James Nestor’s book called Breath. I now focus on how I breath when I exercise and believe it’s made a difference on controlling my HR

That sounds pretty normal, that is, if the rise between the two is smooth and not step-wise.

Not sure what info you're looking for here, as you seem to be well on top of your heart rate and the monitoring thereof. The figures are on the very good side of normal, as I'm sure you know.

Not what you're looking for?
