Thank you everyone who replied to my recent post regarding the above. I am very pleased to report that after speaking to the GP he agreed I could go back to Apixaban which as you can imagine I am very pleased about.

Pleased to hear that you are back on Apixaban and hope all will be well for you now. It just goes to show that if you ask - you can get. Well done.

As I am currently on 5 days without my rivaroxaban (owing to a colonoscopy on Tuesday) I phoned my GP yesterday thinking now would be a good time change to apixaban. He mentioned the current preference for edoxaban but was happy to prescribe apixaban.

I’m glad to hear this. And thanks to your post it was at the forefront of my brain. Yesterday my GP suggested that I might like to change from Apixaban to Edoxaban, as it was a more convenient one pill a day. I said NO thanks. 👍🏼

good to hear - see I have a review March17 which has appeared on NHSApp (no advise if this) - review of DOAC …wonder what this could be 😂
