Be very grateful for any input.

Wolf mini maze only done by Dr Wolf in USA. There are a few doctors in UK who do a mini maze procedure but not the same.I think Mummylove is our expert?
Dr. Wolf's website has a ton of useful info. It's located here-> wolfminimaze.com I do know that he does many international patients. Suggest you call and ask concerning costs: 713-441-9342
There is also Dr Toshiya Ohtsuka in Japan who does the Wolf Mini maze. He was trained by Dr Wolf and has done thousands of the procedure. It is much less expensive there than going to Houston. Saulger just had the procedure in Japan yesterday. He could tell you the Information on that procedure.
it is very expensive to have a WMM in Houston if you are self pay. It’s closer to 170,000 I believe. If anyone is seriously wanting this procedure the way Dr Wolf does it consider going to Tokyo and have it done by Dr Ohtsuka. Dr Wolf trained Dr Ohtsuka in 2008 and he has done over 2000 procedures with stellar results and it is very affordable at a fraction of the cost for anyone paying out of pocket. If you can access your UK NHS tho Mummy Luv is your expert in getting you to surgeons doing the hybrid convergent procedure. Also very successful just done a bit differently. If anyone would want to have a consult with Dr Ohtsuka I could help you with that.
it’s not usually a hybrid convergent in the UK for lone afib. The approach is similar to Dr Wolf as in mini maze first and only if then needed a follow up catheter ablation. So in my case it was mini maze only.
Hybrids are the route though if there are other arrhythmias alongside the afib. So 4chickens for example is a hybrid approach.
$120,000 to $150,000 depending on if you get the 5 year Link monitor. This was quoted to me by Dr. Wolf 2 months ago. With this nasty inflation, who knows now.
wow that’s expensive, I could not afford that.
Missed your post, ElectricBlue. I had the mini-maze in Japan for the cost of a used 2012 Ford Mondeo (Google Automart). The care was phenomenal and I have been in NSR all day and every day for the past 4 months post-op, barring 3-4 days in tachycardia right after the Op, which is not unexpected. Good luck.
