Epicardial Backpack

Does anyone know what an epicardial backpack is please? I had a chest X-ray and although I haven't spoken with the doctor yet as she is busy, the receptionist said about the epicardial backpack and some other words I didn't understand.

The X-ray was for covid induced lung/chest infection and possibly pneumonia so goodness knows what the above is

I tried to look it up on google, but all that came up were children's backpacks for schools, etc.

Thank you

Pat

Sorry not heard this expression in the 16 years I have been involved with heart and AF matters.

yes I heard incorrectly and it was epicardial fat and connected to the pericardium and could lead to an MI. Scary the way I read it as it looked like I was on my way out…..!!!

Maybe you heard wrong? Try ‘epicardial fat pad’……

yes I think I did hear wrong. I looked it up and it doesn’t look good. The doctor didn’t phone today so hopefully she will tomorrow. I would have shared the link just out of interest but I didn’t know how to do it

Thank you for your help
