Just bought a Kardia

Hello, I'm a 52 year old male with normal blood pressure, not overweight and regularly walk for exercise. I've had PVC's since I was 40. I had an echo last year which showed no abnormalities in my heart structure or function. Occasionally I have been feeling flushed and slightly fatigued for a few minutes. I purchased a Kardia Mobile a few weeks ago to see if perhaps my heart was causing it. The Kardia has been giving me an AFIB reading every other day or so with bpm around 70 to 80. I immediately take another reading and it then shows a normal rhythm. I've also had some normal rhythm with wide QRS results as well as supraventricular ectopics and PVC'S. Clearly I've been concerned with the AFIB results, but since they only last 30 seconds or so, I'm wondering if the Kardia could be giving a false reading. I sent one strip to my Cardiologist and he said it looked like normal rhythm with frequent PAC's. Just wondering if anyone else has run across this and if I should be concerned or perhaps the Kardia results could be incorrect.

Why don’t you post one or two of your Kardia traces. Some of the more experienced people here who use the device might be able to decipher what’s going on.
