For those who replied to my last post I had the dreaded phone call from my really unhelpful Arythmia nurse.

And she was so different.Just sounded so gentle & caring & was so helpful.I think the pressure may have got to her at the time of our consultations. It appears the more senior long standing has referred me to be looked at by ep cardiologist mid may .But of course nobody told me.No letters .I am pretty sure I checked that with secretaries but don't know the exact date I checked. So sit & wait. Still trying self help.

To answer your question on rights: broadly you have the right to be referred to a specialist of your choosing.

You have the right to refuse treatments but not to demand them.

You can ring the appointments department and check that you are on the waiting list for an appointment and with whom. They will also tell you how long the waiting list is for you.
