Lifestyle the strongest tool in the box

Just listened to highly self educated down to earth patient turned healer Kim Knight artofhealth.co.nz - makes sense to me, here are some extracts & the link to the 45min talk. IMHO should be top of the list for all AFers.

'All healing is awareness'

'Self care is a revelation in health care'

'Become your own master'

'Learn the laws of health and life and stop breaking them'

'Everybody doing the wrong thing generates a collective comfort - can't be that bad'

'We've become so detached we don't realise what is harming us'

'Our natural state should be harmonious inside if it isn't we are heading for trouble'

I've just watched the talk and there's certainly a lot of food for thought there. Personally, I've found a lot of peace and an inner calm through living on my own and being completely free. I'm sure that's not the case for a lot of other people and at one time I would never have thought that. I'm truly happy, love my life and am constantly enthralled by the beauty of nature.

On that note I must go and fill up the bird feeders in my garden, because I can see the sparrows and goldfinches are disappointed to find them empty.

Yep, that 'inner calm' needs much more attention and the rest will follow as you have found out Jean. To quote the talk again 'when the body becomes peace, harmony & joy, its correct natural state, the self healing mechanisms automatically kick in' - I used to think of this as all Hippy nonsense but not anymore.

Look forward to listening. Knowing ourselves I think, is truly important to happiness.

Thanks - it's on the listen list! (although I have a feeling that once I've listened, I will have learned that it should have been top of the listening list)
