Hi everyone,
If this topic interests you, do email us at info@surreyasg.co.uk and we'll add you to the email list so you get a zoom link for this talk. I personally found a tight link between my potassium levels and my Af so am pleased this doctor is taking such an interest.
I don't come on the forum often so don't just ask here as you'll be missed- just email as above. Those who have kindly joined us before will get the link automatically.
Best wishes,
Rosemary

Sorry I missed all this but I agree electrolyte and potassium definitely can affect you. I knew about potassium because of my dad‘s heart issues and the tests he had. I keep sport drink with Electrolite in the refrigerator and if I’m feeling off I drink it it is sugar-free and that and or a banana definitely makes me feel better. It hits me almost like a good piece of chocolate or a cup of good coffee. Although I didn’t get to see it thank you for sharing
Hi, i usually get af around 3 times a year and always takes over 30 hours to revert. I have started to take a hydration tablet now which maybe explains why it's now 18-20 hours. Recently have had 5 in 8 weeks, possibly due to change in bp tablets. Started taking 5 MG felodipine with ramopril 5 MG, instead of 10 MG ramipril. Reduced to 2.5 MG felodipine which seems better. Don't like it though, can't see the point of taking two different tablets that both relax blood vessels. I have slowish heart rate, 45 -75 generally, genetic. Think that might explain recent af episodes but who knows. Heart specialist and gp have no real answers. Seems an inexact science. Cheers. Phil d
