Taking part in high risk activity and gone into Afib

Gutted. I have had three ablations in the last 23 months, the last three months ago. Was just beginning to feel better again after # 3 when I went into Afib while meditating. Yes, that high risk activity MEDITATION!!

Off to big teaching hospital, worse I have ever felt. HR topping 195 and weird feeling of passing out plus waves of like hot liquid coursing through my veins. Very odd.

So just had DCCV number nine (8 in last 2.5 years).

Cyber hugs needed please.

Cyber hug sent your way. So sad to hear what you are going through. Sometimes I wonder just how we get through these horrid experiences and yet somehow we do. Heres hoping for a better way ahead for you and things getting back on track. Dig in there things will settle and good times will be ahead. Best wishes.

You're kidding! Nope, I know you're not and am gutted for you. That's crazy - it's supposed to drop the HR - usually does it for me. Plain unlucky. May you stay stable now. If it's any help, sometimes I have to think back to what I did a few hours or even a couple of days before AF kicked in to find the trigger. Do you think this was a vagal response? Might make sense - relaxation AFTER stress?

My trigger appears to be sleep! Flipping annoying!!

How many hours do you reckon. I've been triggered by vaccines taken in the afternoon but Afib starts 1-6 am.?

Same with me. I've had three vaccinations. After the first it was the worst event I'd ever had. The second one was worse yet and the third one put me into what may be permanent AFib. If you wonder why I had the second and third, my cardiologist demanded it. Ablation coming up.

My ep said same. The thinking is perhaps that Covid would have done that and more? Hope your ablation comes soon and sorts you out xxx
