I’m looking at a potential ablation for my afib. My cardio advised that it could be an option so I had a look in my area who could do it for me. I’ve looked at Dr Jonathan Clague who does the procedure at the Surrey Arrhythmia Centre in Guildford. Does anyone have any experience of him please. Thanks

I loked him up out of interest. He is described as highly experienced and one of the busiest in his field.Also works at The Royal Brompton. Sounds good.

Jonathan has done all mine and is very very good. I have been treated at Royal Brompton where he is based but I know he does work elsewhere. Beware that he is in great demand and waiting lists will be long. No really long!

By the way I live in Devon and had to travel regularly to London. AF free since 2008 for the record but I have other arrhythmias we still discuss from time to time..

I think I heard it here that he was good and some time ago he was very accommodating in arranging an appointment time convenient to me but in the end I didn't need it. Thanks for mentioning the Guildford option as it is my closest. Best wishes.
