My Cryoblation and FLutter procedure is on 3rd March at St Barts

Professor Pierre Lambiasse is carrying out the procedure

Anyone else had this professor or the procedure carried out at St Bart’s

Looking for reassurance lol

I had my first ablation at the Heart Hospital in London which is now 'merged'with Barts I believe. I heard of Dr Lambiasse some years ago. He is a top cardiologist so you will he in very good hands !

Barts and London AF clinic all under Prof Richard Schilling is one of the top centres in UK so you must be on good hands. Remember Professors are the top of the tree. Try to relax and enjoy the ride.

He is in charge of the department at Barts and is considered to be very eminent. I haven't had an ablation with him but have had a consultation. I would think he would be ideal.

I didnt go ahead with my ablation for various reasons but if I had , Professor Lambiase and my own EP were going to perform it. I had a private consultation with the Professor and he was very nice. Reason I didnt go through is because I have some other heart problems which didnt make the success rate of the ablation very high. However if I had gone through with it, I would have been happy to have had the Professor, he is a leading light in this field and lectures all around the world. Think you are in very safe hands 👍
