for all your kind words, support, advice and for sharing your own experiences, just too many people to try and reply to individually, thus this post.
My cardiologist did say he wanted to have a review in a months time so I have decided to write to him about having a review and also to say that I want to discuss the events of the cardioversion at the same time and the reason why I was not sufficiently sedated.
I did think about formally complaining but there’s always 2 sides to a story and I want to understand what he has to say. If he did all the right things and ended up in a situation where it was better to finish it then to abort then so be it, if he brushes it off then I would follow a complaints route.
I will speak to my local PALS about it as suggested but I think they only cover matters and complaints against the nhs whereas my treatment was private.
Thank you once again and apologies if I missed anyone out who responded back.
