Hi I recently saw a few interesting articles how using sandalwood oil can create new hair growth so I thought I would give it a go. To my amazement it worked, my hair got much thinker and created new growth where I was getting a bald patch.
Now the downside.
I found when using sandalwood once a day at night my AF after a week accelerated at night. I was getting attacks 4 times a week compared to twice a month and my daily palpitations increased 10 fold. I've now stop using sandalwood oil and my AF has returned back to what it was before I started using this oil. Such a shame I found a product that can help you stop losing your hair which now I can't use.
Anyone else experience this?

How really interesting dave152248! It just goes to show that we can't ever discount any possibility of side effects from any source. One thing I would say, with regard to any essential oils is that they are far more potent than many people believe, and should always be used with caution. (I practised aromatherapy for a while some years ago, though I never came across this particular interaction). They really should be treated as medications and only used with the help of a trained aromatherapist. The most usual side effect is local irritation of the skin when applied, and it's inadvisable for use in people with liver conditions or cancer. But in fact, I've also never known of it as being recommended as effective for preventing hair loss either.
