I had to have mine fitted after a SCA. I am so glad they did, its like my guardian angel x
I was given a pacemaker / ICD after having four cardiac arrests, where my heart stopped completely. Fortunately I was in the ER when it happened. But I thank God every day that I have it. I see on my pulse oximeter when my heart slows down to 50 -- if it goes lower, then the pacemaker kicks in and saves my life. My defibrillator is set to go off at 180 bpm, but I never even get to 100. Anybody whose heart goes so fast like that should definitely have one! It will put your poor heart into normal rhythm if it goes up to a certain level. So much better than having your heart go so fast that it just blows up. I know modern technology can be scary, but it could save your life!!!
