Sir Sean Connery RIP

Recently left us all after a fine acting career. He died in his sleep at age 90. The cause of death was posted as pneumonia and it was noted that he suffered from AFIB. Perhaps an inspiration to us all.

As did fellow James Bond Roger Moore. Must be catching . Seriously since one in four people over 70 will have AF is it surprising?

A friend of mine used to caddy for him in the 60’s, she adored him and said he was the nicest person, humble and funny and kind and a great actor.

Is there anyone else finding they don’t know the names of the new generation of actors? Is it just age or are just me being too out of touch?

I think it’s an age thing. I don’t know them either, same with new music. Stuck in the 60s!!

When an older person dies, most all of their chronic conditions are listed on their death certificate, even if they did not contribute directly to the actual death. As an example, AF was listed on my mother's death certificate even though her cause of death was aortic stenosis. And yes, AF is the most common arrhythmia in the elderly.
