Sorry

Sorry my post on the pandemic caused such a bad reaction for a few people. Maybe I should have worded it better. I know many are tired of it. But it is something that affects us all..Afib or not. I was looking for some encouragment. Support. At a time when I was feeling a little down. I did receive many kind answers. Many. Thank you all so much. I really don't understand the negativity I also received. But I'm not angry at those posters. Everyone has their own opinion. As do I. But I don't try to hurt someone's feelings or cause fighting among other posters. I wish you all to stay safe and well. And I to hope that maybe this time next year things will finally be BETTER. 🤞

Why apologise when all you did was seek help during these difficult times.....it was good to see that you received so many positive replies from folk who understood what you are going through and just wanted to help.

You are not the one who needs to apologise and it wasn’t you who started anything.

I hope that you received what you needed from your post, know that you aren’t going through this alone, that we understand it’s hard and we all need to sound off sometimes and have people understand that and this forum has always supported each other when there is one down, it’s not ALL just about AF, nor should it be simply because WE are more than our AF.

Thank you CDreamer. What you said is how I feel. None of us live in a box with only Afib to deal with. We all have many other things we must face every day. I have always admired your posts. You try to always help and give advice when you can. And I did receive many kind answers along with yours. Thank you so very much. I wish you the best and take care ❤..

Social Media eh? It can be good but other times.... infuriating! I take a break from it every so often.

Probably a break coming up for me.

It was clear that you meant no ill will. You expressed what many of us feel and normally this is a supportive community. I hope from now on the rest of us will be a little kinder.

Hey don’t apologise. I don’t get people that complain, this forum is an umbrella of understanding , yes we all have a common denominator of AFib, but that in itself causes all sorts of worries/ down times/ fears....and goodness knows what else....chin up , keep posting, we are a merry bunch and there for each other

You actually said quite a bit of what I’m sure a lot of us feel at times. I get upset at peoples cavalier attitude to this virus and I get wobbly days stuck up this mountain. Chin up....roll on the vaccine eh, Sue

You have my sympathy. I have only been out for medical visits in the last month. I am longing for the restaurants to reopen so I can have a break from cooking. We went out to restaurants frequently in the summer and even eating inside did not feel unsafe as the tables were well spaced and everyone wore masks when moving about. The rules here in France often seem senseless. They even said earlier in the year that in Paris people on motor bikes and scooters had to wear masks but not cyclists! It was challenged in court and had to be dropped. You wonder what idiots are making this stuff up. I don't see why churches can open where people are singing but not restaurants.

Yes miss the cafes and restaurants, I’m baffled why cinemas are open ! Yippeeeee, We left the mountain today! Went down to evian on the lake because we can now go further yippee! Problem is with no cafes restaurants open you’ve got no loos!.and in freezing cold weather you need a loo!......folk up here are complying they can’t ski, as resorts are all closed till mid January, but we get around a hundred accidents a day in the portes de soleil, guess it is overload for the hospitals.Sue

You have absolutely nothing to apologise for. All of us are suffering to a greater or lesser degree with this pandemic and the responses to it. Often the responses to it whether from governments or our fellow citizens cause more stress than the fear of the virus itself. We just have to try and support each other and hope that 2021 will bring us some respite. If a couple of people on this forum used your post as an excuse to prolong their disagreement that arose from a previous post ,it is no way your responsibility. Anyway they probably enjoyed their argument so you could say you'd done them a good turn!

The road to hell is paved with good intentions! 😆

Today I went Waitrose! A momentous decision but Christmas can’t start until I have my poinsettia! 👍
