Anyone taking Multaq? I started it a few days ago and am wondering if the initial side effects tapered off after it got in your system.

Multaq
So far I seem to be tolerating well but I have only been taking it for 2 1/2 days so 5 pills. I notice being a little more tired but not too drastic. But last night I had painful muscle spasms. They were gone this morning thankfully. Then after I eat my stomach is tore up for a little while. My heart rate is definitely lower. I was switched from Flecainide to Multaq because the Flecainide wasn’t working that well anymore. So far the Multaq is working. If you don’t mind me asking, why do Tupi have to have monthly blood tests?
Thank you so much for your input I greatly appreciate it. Just hearing from someone taking it makes me feel better. I have severe PACs and PVCs that I can feel. So far all day yesterday and so far today I have not felt an episode. I am praying that It all lines out because so far it seems to be working. I will definitely be checking with my EP about the blood tests.
Make sure you eat BEFORE taking Multaq. I have been on it for 4 years and it really helped my A-Fib but unfortunately recently it has stopped working. I thought it was my miracle drug. When I was first put on it no one told me to take after eating and I had terrible diarrhea. Once they told me to eat first all was well. I take one after breakfast and the other after dinner - not necessarily 12 hours apart but it's worked and no one said it had to be 12 hours apart. Hope it works for you as it did for me other than that no side effects.
Thank you. I have been eating before I take it, my pharmacist warned me. I am having to get used to eating breakfast because I have never eaten in the mornings. Today is my 4th day taking it and I feel better than I have in days. I believe my body is adjusting. I am hoping it works for awhile.
I am always afraid that I am not eating enough. I haven’t really had an appetite since I started Multaq.
I don’t think so , but who knows.
