Morning has broken......

5:50am and I’ve just finished a mug of tea and all I can think about is it will be at least 9:00pm before I can have another one! I’m off to Liverpool Heart and Chest hospital at 9:00am for ablation No. 2. and not allowed to eat or drink anything more from now (except water until 10:00am) until after procedure. Am I worried about procedure? No, not really, maybe one or two collie wobbles but that’s it. Am I worried about no more tea for possibly another 16 hours? You bet I am!

I remember first time round when they eventually sat me up and nurse made me a brew. It was like drinking liquid gold. Mind you couldn’t say the same for the digestives. They we’re generic and not McVities!

......and yes sports bottle packed. No intention of giving myself a bed bath!
