I agree with Bob, your chest pain and loss of breath needs medical attention. Please dial the NHS 111 number for advice right now. No joking, chest pains must always be investigated and even more so with your feeling breathless and faint.
Hi thank you yes I hate being on this drug it’s poison I’m talking to the best private cardiac dr Friday so hope there’s an alternative and can find out what’s going on now with my heart 🤙
I stopped taking it a few years ago and to be quite honest I can't really remember just when, in fact it's like the nightmares and other side affects, you tend to push them to the back of your mind. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
I was given 2.5 mg of Bisoprolol in the hospital after I had 4 cardiac arrests & a pacemaker put in a couple years ago, along with some other meds. When I got home I would get out of breath just getting out of the chair and taking 3 steps, etc. It was really scary. I didn't have any chest pain, but I was also really tired all the time and weak, I couldn't do anything. I thought that was because of my heart failure, but it turned out to be the Bisoprolol! My doctor cut that dosage in a half, and within a couple days, no more loss of breath! I've been happily taking the 1.25 (quarter pill) now for over 2 years, and I have no side effects. From what I read here, it looks like lots of doctors tend to give too much Bis at the beginning, most people might benefit from a lowering of dose.
I was only on a small dose of BisopralolBisopralol 1st.25 and was totally zonked out all the time with that amount but from what I've read it affects different people in different ways, some can tolerate much larger doses than others.
