How long have you had afib?

I have para afib for three years. Cryo ablation in March of 2019. Don’t know why but been having lots of PVCs lately. Worried afib is gonna come back. My afib always started after having PVCs.

I hate PVCs because they take my breath away right when I’m in the middle of something.

Hi there. What is PVC? How do you feel today?

Premature ventricular contraction. PAC = premature atrial contraction. ie: your heart is going out of sync.

Yep, PACs & PVC were nearly always a precursor to AF for me. First diagnosed in 2007 but had episodes undiagnosed as I was in remote places for about a few years prior. Drugs - 2007-2013 with poor control and deteriating QOL. Ablation 2013 & 2014 - no AF until 2017 when episodes starting becoming more frequent and symptomatic again. Pacemaker (Resynchronisation Therapy) inserted in preparation for Pace and Ablate as a last resort treatment which miraculously worked and no AF - to date but I ain’t goin’ brag as I know it could return even now.
