I think define complications would help there.

I know at least one member has had cardiac tamponade (puncture) but this is very rare. The groin wound can on occasions be painful for a short while and of course all the things we mention in our fact sheet are common.

3 weeks ago after ablation i had peritoneal bleed and arrested i know its a rare complication and my EP said it had never happened to him before iam struggling at the moment to recover as went into hosp active and fit

That really is unlucky . It takes several months to recover from ablation anyway regardless of any complications so you have a double wammy. Take it easy and don't push yourself. It will come good in the end. I know when I arrested during a cardioversion it was probably three months or more before I started to feel better let alone the cracked ribs from CPR.

thanks Bob its all been a bit scary think i am frustrated feeling this ill at the moment 2 major ops and 2 stays in intensive care and the ablation i suppose you are right, i will try and be patient.

Important to keep a sense of humour. My GP asked me if I was traumatised by my experience. I said "No as I wasn't there at the time and it was somebody else's "OH SHIT! " moment not mine.
