I recently around 3/4 weeks ago had my meds changed from Lorsatan to Candesartan due to a persistent cough and constantly clearing of my my throat.(much to the annoyance of my partner) 😁Feels like it has worked however, over the last 2 weeks I have felt some stiffness in my left wrist joint - feels weak/strained! Other than that all good! Thx for listening

I went the other way as Losartan is cheaper-- for NHS of course.

I am currently on Losartan for high BP which I had to double up the dose. No side effects currently.

I had issues with Ramapril (persistent cough) and Amlodapine (shortness of breath).

Hope the new medication continues to work for you. I have a phone consultation with my gp in the morning about starting on anticoagulants also.
