Hi All

Thanks for great feedback to my previous posts, Mine is permanent AF and I'm on 5mg Bisoprolol. I wonder if anyone in similar situation past or present experiences regular dizziness/ light headed. My most common symptom is waking up reasonably fine but then after 30 mins or so, feels like I'm going light headed/faint etc as if my blood pressure has really dropped. I wonder about breakfast diet ? Any thoughts and thanks again

Do you take the Bisoprolol as one pill in the morning? If so, that could well leave you feeling faint for a period after it has kicked in. From other comments on here, many take the Biso in the evening, or at least split it to two half doses, morning and evening.

Hi Peteratsylvan

Thank you for the reply, I take the Biso as one tablet usually around 11am (I try to keep a similar time each day) therefore the bout of dizziness has usually occurred by then. It's odd I tend to be fine immediately upon waking up, then after having breakfast I get moving around etc and whoosh I just feel really dizzy, like a real bout of low blood pressure. This probably happens regularly (5 mornings out of 7 each week at least) thanks Dave

Hi Billblue thanks very much for the reply. I feel I want to reduce the dosage myself and see how I go, I will get in touch with GP again about that.

If you don’t mind, can I ask are you just controlling the AF with medication or have you had any sort of procedure as well?

Thanks Dave
